The "FLE Fiber Optic Laser Ruler" is a high-precision displacement measuring instrument with advantages such as compact size, multiple protection functions, separation of the main unit and the probe, rich software functions, and an open API interface.
The laser probe has dimensions of 35x51x83mm, making it suitable for installation in narrow spaces. It can perform real-time detection of key signals such as the laser status and optical path status to ensure safe and reliable operation. It comes standard with a 3-meter optical fiber and cable, which facilitates installation and avoids the influence of the main unit's heat dissipation on the measurement path. Users can configure functions such as resolution and compensation coefficients through the software, and monitor and output measurement results. The open API interface facilitates secondary development for users.
Technical Features
- High Precision: The measurement accuracy can reach 0.8ppm. That is, when measuring a distance of 1m, the accuracy is higher than 0.8um; when measuring a distance of 100mm, the accuracy is higher than 0.08um.
- High Speed: The measurement speed can reach over 1000mm/s, far exceeding the measurement speed of 300 - 500mm/s of general grating rulers with the same precision.
- Long Measuring Range: The measuring range can reach over 4m, which is several times that of general grating rulers with the same precision.
- Easy Installation: There are no special requirements for the installation surface. Simply place the corner cube and the laser probe opposite each other on a straight line. The straightness requirement is not high. The laser probe is equipped with an adjustment device to facilitate the alignment of the laser beam.
- Less Affected by the Environment: The use of the environmental compensation component makes the fiber optic laser interferometer equivalent to a grating ruler with a 0 expansion coefficient. At the same time, the environmental compensation module also has a material compensation unit, which can set the expansion coefficient of the measured object, so that the displacement of the measured object always corresponds to the data under the normal NTP state.
- Fast System Response: The main unit performs real-time calculations and outputs based on the environmental parameters and the data collected by the laser probe. The system response time is less than 1us, making it suitable for closed-loop applications of real-time controllers.
- Diverse Output Interfaces: The output interfaces of the main unit include a USB interface and a position output interface. The position output interface supports differential TTL (RS - 422/EIA - 422), sine - cosine signals (SinCos 1Vpp), BiSS C, etc., which can adapt to different controllers.
- Cosine Error Compensation: The cosine error caused by the angle between the measurement axis and the motion axis of the measured device can be set and compensated through the software.
